What is the solution overview?

Based on the Elucido Learning & Collaboration System (ELCS), we offer three deployment options: For individual classrooms, for multiple classrooms within a campus and for multiple classrooms in different geographic locations.
All three deployment options support content delivery, interaction, collaboration and student assessment.

For multiple classroom environments, either on one campus or at different locations, one teacher can teach multiple classes at the same time with live, bidirectional video and audio.

Student, student groups or overall class performance can be assessed, monitored and tracked for the entire academic tenure. The ELCS has built-in basic LMS capabilities. It can also be easily integrated with third party full featured Learning Management Systems. We also offer integrated third party Lecture Capture solutions.

What do you mean by Interaction?

Teachers and students can write on the Interactive Whiteboard, annotate on content, utilize assessment tools and respond to questions verbally using PCs, Mobile Devices, Laptops and other physical devices. These interactions are possible across all connected locations, inside or outside classrooms. Moreover, all interactions can be tracked even at an individual student level, for future analysis.

What do you mean by Collaboration?

Our collaboration tools allows individual students and student groups to interact with each other and solve assignments either from within the classroom or outside from their homes, using their laptops and PCs.

Does the solution only work within classrooms?

No. In addition to classroom based teaching and learning, students can log in to live teaching sessions using their laptops from home. Our solution ensures that they can see the teacher, ask questions, write on the Interactive Whiteboard and annotate on content. Everything that students can do from the classroom can be done using their laptop or PC, from outside the classroom. Moreover, the teacher can also deliver lectures to students in classrooms, using a laptop from home or any other remote location.

What kind of infrastructure is required for deployment of the solution?

Each classroom should have an Interactive White Board (IWB), a projector and a PC with Elucido software. Optional components are the Student Response System (SRS) for assessment, our group collaboration software tool and third party Lecture Capture solution.
For multiple classroom environments, additional Audio and Video software and hardware components will be required with internet connectivity.
The Elucido server software can either be hosted at Elucido headquarters, on the school campus or at the school data center, depending on requirement and deployment type.
